Credit-quality research archive

Published charge-off and default briefings

Verified charge-off, default, and lender disclosure context

A dated research record for charge-off, default, and credit-quality context.

The Fitzgerald Advisors archive keeps completed BankWatch, separately sourced CU Watch, and when verified, SEC EDGAR and FRED research layers available by publication date, reporting quarter, credit signal, region, and keyword. Each edition distinguishes reported source data, descriptive aggregation, and the loan-sale advisor interpretation. The archive does not convert a public field into a supervisory rating, pricing opinion, recovery estimate, sale recommendation, or prediction that an institution will transact.

Source separation and period controls.

BankWatch data is read separately from CU Watch NCUA 5300 data. BankWatch’s verified Q2 2026 detail cohort remains the bank-level reference while Q3 source-period reconciliation is open. CU Watch’s Q2 2026 full-universe explorer preserves its own records and disclosed Census-region denominators. SEC EDGAR filing language and FRED macro series are separate layers with their own source, timing, and definition checks. None of these sources is blended into a single ranking or metric.

How to use an edition.

Start with the reporting period and source note, then use a reported charge-off, delinquency, nonaccrual, reserve, provision, recovery, or lender-disclosure field as a screening question. A seller or buyer mandate still requires the specific portfolio tape, collateral or obligor context, documentation, servicing, legal status, ownership, transfer conditions, buyer fit, and complete transaction terms.

Research is context, not a transaction conclusion.

Completed editions remain available so readers can compare the stated period, source, and methodology over time. Fitzgerald’s advisor commentary is kept distinct from raw fields and derived aggregates. Any actual transaction discussion begins with high-level business information and a confidential, asset-specific review.

Compare like-for-like credit-quality periods before drawing a conclusion.

Archive filters are intended to make the reporting boundary visible. Compare charge-offs, delinquencies, nonaccruals, reserves, provisions, recoveries, and lender disclosures only where the population, field definition, denominator, source, and period are comparable. Use the weekly advisor interpretation to identify a due-diligence question, then return to the relevant seller, buyer, NPL, CRE, note, or commercial-receivables transaction hub for an asset-specific next step.
